The Colonial Coast
Ever since I was a child, I've always had a fascination with the romantic and historic ambiance of New England. From the colonial architecture to the evocative rocky shorelines to the sense of that Newport style, the American northeast was always a place I hoped to visit when I was young.
Well, I've never quite made it to New England, but I have experienced a fantasized taste of it via the Cape Cod section of Tokyo Disney Sea's American Waterfront. This neighborhood is scenic and feels tranquil, even though there are frequently lots of people hustling around to meet Duffy Bear and his friends. But it offers a bit of that experience my childhood self had hoped to see. That's the magic of Tokyo Disney Sea--it's escapism at Disney's finest!
