From the Harbor to the Fortress
Ambiance is everywhere at Tokyo Disney Sea. While the park is abound with majestic views and intricate architecture and immaculate theming, one really needs to look at the spaces between the places to appreciate how immersive the most beautiful theme park in the world really is. The photo below is sort of a transition area, where guests coming from the coastline of Mediterranean Harbor move through a portal that takes them past the Fortress Explorations playground area and then further into Mysterious Island. The detail of the rockwork, the integrated vegetation, the protruding architecture, and the towering volcano, Mount Prometheus, all combine to create an amazingly wondrous atmosphere. There's no specific attraction in this view, but everything around guests feels escapist anyway. That is a testament to the rigor and quality of this amazing park!
