Washing Away the Old Year

A very dry winter has suddenly turned very damp in Southern California, as we have gotten hit with a few much-needed storms the past week+ to give us some precipitation for the season.  This has coincided with the new lunar year, so perhaps the Year of the Snake brings good fortunes in the preciptation department? Then again, last year's Dragon Year started right in the middle of the second of back to back historic rainfall seasons, so more likely this is just a bit of normalization.  Anyway, I thought it made it fitting to post a rainy evening photo from a few years ago, taken also during the Lunar New Year Celebration at Disney California Adventure!
