The Glowing Lagoon
Disneyland Paris' Discoveryland is a magnificent rendition of a world of tomorrow that never was, utilizing a colorful, steampunk-inspired fantastical rendition of the future to create a timeless ambiance. One of the most scenic areas of Discoveryland lies at the end of the land, next to the Space Mountain ride building. The lagoon houses the Nautilus walkthrough attraction, and the waters are especially photogenic at night, when they glow in a spectrum of cool greens and blues. It kind of reminds me of parts of Tokyo Disney Sea--particularly Mysterious Island and Port Discovery--though Disneyland Paris came before the Sea of Dreams. But maybe it partly served as a template!

The luminous saturation of Discoveryland during the nighttime is beautiful. |
