Surfing Very Whale

Hong Kong is a municipality in China that is associated with water, because much of the city is completely surrounded by water.  The only part that is not is the link to the Mainland.  Thus, for the entrance plaza to Hong Kong Disneyland, a fountain with Mickey Mouse surfing on a whale and Minnie Mouse balancing on a baby whale seems kind of appropriate.  This playful scene celebrates the aquatic context of Hong Kong as a whole, and it's a cute photo op for guests passing by on their way to enter the park.  

The entrance fountain in front of Hong Kong Disneyland is a splashy affair!
