Baymax Belayed
Disney California Adventure's San Fransokyo Square is full of charming litle details that reinforce the theme of this blend of Northern California and Japanese aesthetics--all based off the Disney animated film, Big Hero 6. One of my favorites are these Baymax hanging lanterns strung over the primary lane through the area. They look like the traditional round paper lanterns from Japanese culture with the added artistic touch of Baymax personification. Rendered in both his white original appearance and red super armor form, they represent a playfully creative way of blending details from a fictional production with that of real societal art.
