The Circle of the Holidays

If you've paid attention to this blog for a year or twelve, you can discern that I really enjoy capturing those late-night empty park photos that seem ethereal and serene.  So it's frustrating when the security guards don't cooperate and just stand in the shot.  Now, are they just doing their jobs?  Yes.  Are they hoping that I would just take my photos and leave?  Definitely.  Am I entitled if I wished that they would move just to accommodate me?  Absolutely.  Do I still wish they would shuffle off to the side for a quick half minute?  Yes.  

In this case, though, I got impatient and just took the photo series to combine into this nighttime composite.  The resulting environment is still pretty wonderful.
