The Christmas Streets of New York

Photographically-inclined visitors to the Tokyo Disney Resort may notice a challenge that isn't present at the domestic Disney parks--the inability to bring a tripod into the park for use in those late night photo runs to capture the park in its pristine, empty glory. This means that angles that might ordinarily be easily done at Disneyland or Walt Disney World are more challenging, because one can't just set up a camera in the middle of the street (short of setting it on the ground) to take long exposures.  Instead, it's about finding a trash can to set the camera on, or a light pole or fence or side of a building to brace, and then hoping there's no shake in the long exposure.

Well, the photo below didn't quite escape unscathed, as there is motion blur on the right and top sides. But I still like how it turned out. The holiday ambiance it portrays is magical, and it's a wonderful photographic memory of my favorite theme park in the entire world!
