The Oogie Boogie Treat Trail Line-Up 2024

For the first time in three years and second time ever, I attended the Oogie Boogie Bash, this time taking my wife with me after going solo for my first time (but hanging out with my friends, Cosplay Parents).  Though the Oogie Boogie Bash features the same general arrangement each year--Trick or Treat Trails, the Frightfully Fun Parade, and Villains Grove--the trails themselves evolve a little each year with the rotation of different villains.  There are twelve Trick or Treat Trails this year, and nine of them are specifically associated with characters.  

This year, they are (starting from Hollywood Land and going around the park clockwise through Avengers Campus, San Fransokyo Square, Pixar Pier, Grizzly Peak, and the parade corridor between Carthay Circle and Avengers Campus: Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Oogie Boogie, Hades, Ernesto de la Cruz, Agatha Harkness, Yokai from Big Hero 6, Sid from Toy Story, Judge Doom, and Madam Mim.  Of those nine, only two of them were part of the Trick or Treat Trail line-up three years ago--Oogie Boogie, who obviously has to return everywhere, given that the event is his namesake, and Agatha, how once again features in a Marvel television show this year.  It's smart of Disney to partner the candy collection with the fun photo op of meeting characters that otherwise don't really frequent the parks.  This exclusivity gives higher priority to the trails, and they offer great photo ops to Disney fan photographers like myself who enjoy the spectacular sets and costuming offered in these locations.
