The Ghostly Harbor

It was the coolest thing back in the day to go to Mickey's Halloween Party and encounter a fogged out Rivers of America bathed in blue and green lighting, looking like a vast, misty quay teeming with supernatural energy.  Though the Sailing Ship Columbia was not available as an attraction during this time, it provided a great photo op and enhanced the spooky ambiance.  Though the Disneyland Resort separate ticket Halloween Party has since moved on to Disney California Adventure, I still wish they would bring back something like this as either part of Disneyland park decor (their Halloween decorations could use freshing up) or an iteration over at Paradise Bay in DCA!  

Unfortunately, Disney has done neither.  Oh well, a guy can dream.

The Columbia is docked at Frontier Landing as the spirits of Halloween seem to fill the Rivers of America.
