Judge Doom

My favorite villain photo op in this year's Oogie Boogie Bash's Trick or Treat Trails was the Judge Doom set, located behind the Soarin' Around the World ride building, in Grizzly Peak.  This is the most detailed and immersive backdrop, a red-bathed industrial scene featuring a perch for Judge Doom to loom over his audience. To the side is a show, frightened and shivering, in the middle of an inquisition from the villain of Who Framed Roger Rabbit.  Earlier in the season, Judge Doom tortured the show and lowered it into the Dip--a surprisingly intense moment that might have traumatized some of the event's younger guests.  He didn't do so while I was there, despite my hanging around for a little while.  But his caustic and cutting personality and derisive tone were quite memorable, and I definitely hope his Treat Trail returns next year!
