Frightfully Fun Phantasms

The Oogie Boogie Bash separately-ticketed Halloween event at Disney California Adventure has three main attractions: the Trick or Treat Trail photo ops, the Frightfully Fun Parade, and the Villains Grove walkthrough.  Today's post is about the second (so you might be able to guess tomorrow's post).  This parade originated in Disneyland under Mickey's Halloween Party and has been brought over to the DCA side.  Though relatively short (but a little frustratingly spread out for people on a time crunch budget), the floats are elaborate, and the characters and energy of the parade are delightfully spooky and fun.  Kicking off with the Headless Horseman well ahead of the floats and working through a series of Disney Halloween and villain icons, this seasonal feature includes glimpses of the folks from Halloween Town, the Haunted Mansion, The Princess and the Frog, and a trove of Disney baddies.
