A Sid Switcheroo

Most of the Trick or Treat Trails have turned over since I last attended the Oogie Boogie Bash in 2021, but three have not.  In addition to Oogie Boogie, who is featured every year, and Agatha Harkness, who I also saw three years ago, Sid from Toy Story has also been a fixture at Pixar Pier.  He's a mouthy character who openly and somewhat belligerently banters with guests in perfect, annoying bully manner.  It must be a fun role for a character to antagonize guests at a Disney park, given who that would normally be an ultimate no-no working for the Mouse. But here, it's in character, and it's highly entertaining.  Sid's criticisms are typically immature, though the actor straddles the line between playful mockery and lines that would be truly hurtful.  

The timing of my wait at Sid's Trick or Treat Trail a couple of weeks ago was also such that one Sid went on break, and another emerged a minute or so later in a shift change.  They looked nothing alike, but they were both humorous and did justice to the character.  It was a funny moment, though.  "Sid! You look different!"
