The Riverside Manor

As has been tradition, because I can't necessarily only post photos from the Disneyland Resort's Halloween Time during the Halloween season, I'm posting something from a Disney park that has spooky connotations but isn't actually taken during the autumn months.  When it comes to the macabre and the elements of Gothic horror, Disneyland Paris' Phantom Manor is probably the closest the normally squeaky clean Disney brand will go to something dark and twisted.  It is the most brooding of the Haunted Mansion attractions around the world, with a backstory rooted in treachery, betrayal, and murder.  And it looks absolutely creepy from the outside in its dilapidated, Psycho House-esque appearance.  And at night--that ambiance is even more enhanced!

The Rivers of the Far West reflect the eerie presence of Phantom Manor at the far end of Thunder Mesa.
