Four Seasons Aulani

Although the Aulani Resort might seem like a singular monument on the west side of Hawaii when portrayed on media photos or even its own map, in reality, it's part of four luxury resorts located adjacent to each other in the community of Ko Olina.  Aulani is the only one with an actual neighbor, though--the Four Seasons Resort.  The other two properties--the Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club and the Beach Villas at Ko Olina AOAO--are separated by empty plots of land.  Eventually, I'm sure these lots will be developed.  But for now, here's a picture of Aulani and its next-door neighbor!
