Drifting on the River

If one were to only look at these photos, one might assume that this relaxed river near Grizzly Peak is an easy-going, smooth waterway, perfect for lazily floating down on a beautiful summer's day.  But that belies the hidden excitement and adventure at Grizzly River Run.  Uphill, a wet and turbulent experience awaits, with rapids and drops and even a bit of peril inside the caves.  It's a fun, watery trek through the California wilderness, and it's certainly a welcome ride during these hot summer days!
