The Heart of the Park

Today is Disneyland's 69th birthday!  Yes, way back in 1955, Walt Disney's dream opened to the world, and the rest has been magical history.  From those ambitious beginnings, the park has grown and expanded to include nine themed lands (I guess we'll see if that holds, depending on how the park is arranged when Tiana's Bayou Adventure and the rest of Critter Country opens).  Disneyland is home to countless memories, and while it may not be perfect, that's okay and fitting.  Disneyland will never be complete, and wouldn't need to continue to evolving if it was perfect.  Happy birthday to Walt's original Magic Kingdom!
