Cascades at the Nā Haku Pavilion
The waters in front of the Makahiki are a serene and scenic bunch, flowing and dancing over the volcanic rocks and imbuing life and vitality to the Waikolohe Valley. They're for observing, not wading, and they offer a contemplative setting to take in the tranquil, tropical setting. I enjoyed capturing these slightly long-exposed shots to amplify the silky movements of the miniature waterfalls. They relay the relaxed and calming spirit of the islands!
