A FANTASMIC! Blast

One of the more fun photography challenges during FANTASMIC! (among the many) involves capturing Mickey Mouse on top of the cabin at Tom Sawyer's Island just as a blazing fan of pyrotechnics goes off right behind him.  The fireworks pop off with such an intensity that they create a scintillating backdrop no matter what camera settings, and the challenge is to get Mickey in focus and a measure of proper exposure.  These attempts below are by no means perfect, but I think they're kind of neat.
