The Teddy Roosevelt Lounge
I've joked before that Tokyo Disney Sea is so ridiculously amazing that they built a cruise ship just for theming, but that's not exactly true. Though the S.S. Columbia in American Waterfront is a prominent backdrop for this New York dockside area, it does contain two places to visit. The lower level features a Turtle Talk with Crush--same interactive and charming concept as the version in Disney California Adventure. The second is decidedly less kid-friendly, because it's a swanky bar and restaurant geared more toward adults. The Teddy Roosevelt Lounge is an ode to America's 26th president, Theodore Roosevelt, and features an elegant huntsman lodge aesthetic. It's like stepping back to the early 20th century and entering a sumptuous establishment for fine drinks and food. Guests can make reservations or stand by in line. On my second trip to the Tokyo Disney Resort, my friends and I were fortunate enough to snag a spot for a nice meal while we waited out a frigid winter evening until it was time for late night photography.
