The Radiant Railway Theater
Last Sunday, I stopped by Disneyland to see the new Together Forever Pixar-themed fireworks and the returning FANTASMIC! show, but I also did a bit of late night photography in select areas of the park, including Mickey's Toontown. The feature subject, of course, was the fabulous El CapiTOON Theater, home to Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway and a vibrant addition to the Toontown cityscape. One scene I hadn't captured in the year+ since it's been open was that empty park, front and center composition with everything looking pristine. Fortunately, I was able to grab that shot without too much difficulty--and capture enough dynamic range in one exposure that I didn't really feel the need to blend with an underexposed frame to capture the highlights. Finally--Disneyland is balancing their scenes enough that one RAW photo can suffice!
