Japanese Polynesia

Most people are familiar with French Polynesia the locale--the tropical islands in the Pacific synonymous with paradise.  Well, I think part of Adventureland at Tokyo Disneyland might be termed Japanese Polynesia, because that's the theme captured in this part of the land (which also features a half that would be New Orleans Square in California).  The main architectural feature here is the Enchanted Tiki Room show building.  Set in a lush jungle environment, it features towering, steeped roofs and ornate columns and artwork.  It's a sunny and evocative ambiance that appeals to those who love the remote Pacific!
