East Coast on the East Coast

If it wasn't for that striking, volcanic peak in the background, the scene below might understandably be confused for a place in idyllic New England, with all its seaside cottage charm and romantic ambiance.  But there is that lone, craggy mountain, which means this is actually the Cape Cod section of American Waterfront, located in Tokyo Disney Sea.  Similarly dreamy, with incredible theming and immersive atmosphere, this corner of the park is one of the quieter parts, perfect for relaxation and reflection.  But it's also evocative and transportive, and it provides an excellent stand-in for one of the most enchanting parts of the Atlantic seaboard--only on the Pacific!
