Dragon Candy

This year's Lunar New Year Celebration at Disney California Adventure featured a newcomer that offered an enticingly decadent mixture of artistry and confectionery in the form of Sweet Enchantments, a sugar art vendor.  For $12 (an appropriate amount given that number's association in the Chinese zodiac), a talented candy craftsman could paint one of eight creatures or designs for guests to enjoy.  Not only did these indulge one's sweet tooth, they also showcased one-of-a-kind art, because the hand-made nature of these treats ensured that no two creations were ever alike.  It was a pretty neat addition, and I hope this offering is here to stay for future Lunar New Year Celebrations!
