A Whale of a Wave

The promenade outside the entrance of Hong Kong Disneyland is a lush, green setting that marks nearly the end of a long approach from parking and passenger drop-off to Hong Kong's version of the Happiest Place on Earth, and this arrival point is marked by a fun water feature.  Centered in this plaza is a fountain featuring a whale spraying water out of its blowhole.  And on top of this water spray is Mickey Mouse riding a surfboard and impressively balancing on this jet of water.  By night, colorful lighting illuminates the cascading drops.  It's a whimsical start and end of a Hong Kong Disneyland day!
