Rails Along the Riverfront

It doesn't seem like that long ago that a revamped Rivers of America and Disneyland Railroad was the new feature of Disneyland.  This was back before Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge had opened, and it was part of the park reconfiguration to carve out extra land to accommodate the eagerly awaited new expansion.  While the reduction of the size of the Rivers of America was a bit of a bummer, the Imagineers did a great job blending the Western wilderness with the expanse of a Galaxy Far, Far Away, and the newly created railroad trestle, scenic wildlife, and rugged waterfront edge provided a beautiful and immersive ambiance that paid tribute to the pioneering explorers of yesteryear.  And this photo is a nice literal look back to that nice work!
