Adieu to Beast's Library

Last month, another part of the Disneyland Resort faded away into Yesterland, as the Beast's Library part of the Art of Animation attraction at Disney California Adventure was closed.  It's not being replaced by anything.  It's just being removed, further shrinking what once was an extensive walkthrough that showed guests whimiscal tricks and magic behind Disney animation.  Beast's Library transported guests to the iconic space from Beast's castle, including the fading rose that symbolized Beast's curse.  Every so often, when the last petal fell, the entire room would transform into somber, dark ambiance.  In between, guests could also take an interactive test to see which Disney character best represented them.  But all of that is gone now--space that is being given to a Cast Member area.  So as they say, farewell!
