Parisian Christmas Candlelight

Although I normally try to take pretty overview shots during my late-night photo runs, it's sometimes nice to focus on details and moments that supplement a great ambiance.  This is especially fun during the holidays, when there are plenty of lovely ornamentation and trimmings to capture in a Christmas scene.  In this particular example, a streetlight stands in front of a series of glowing garlands, and the architectural texture of Main Street continues beyond toward a whimsical castle.  It's a lovely environment and a serene moment at the same time, and it's the type of scene that evokes nostalgic memories now that I look at it again years later.
