The Only Murphy Left

When the Maleficent dragon animatronic burned down earlier this year at Disneyland during a showing of FANTASMIC!, guests mourned the loss of an iconic and spectacular feature at one of Disney's most popular theme park shows.  It will take a while to replace Murphy, as the dragon was affectionately called, if Disney plans to replace it at all.  But never fear!  For those who attend the Oogie Boogie Bash, the dragon is alive and well and part of one of the sensational floats in the Frightfully Fun Parade!  Sure, it doesn't breathe fire, but it's grabbing a castle turret and looking really badass.  And really, isn't it nice just to see a familiar face again?

** I'm assuming that this hasn't changed from when this photo was taken at an Oogie Boogie Bash two years ago.
