The Gates of Oogie

Getting an empty park shot can be surprisingly challenging these days, with guests lingering and staying in the frame well beyond park closing and park security often standing pat in their positions even if guests leave.  Interestingly, getting an empty park entrance shot is not quite as difficult. It's still a waiting game, but most guests aren't interested in taking selfies in front of the park entrance.  So when there's a really elaborate one like the Halloween Time Oogie Boogie takeover of California Adventure, it's not quite as patience-demanding to capture that crisp, clean photo that we Disney park fan photographers strive to take!
