Sailing through the Vapors

Today is a #ThrowbackThursday to nearly a decade ago, back when the Disneyland Resort separately ticketed Halloween party was actually at Walt Disney's original Magic Kingdom itself, Disneyland!  Mickey's Halloween Party was a fun and spooky affair, similar in structure to the Oogie Boogie Bash in that it had trick or treat trails, character meet and greets, special shows, and a lower capacity to allow shorter waits on attractions.  And one of the coolest sights at the event was the fogged out Rivers of America, bathed in a cool and mysterious blue hue, which awaited guests each night that the event took place.  It was eerie just to behold, and it made for an incredibly photogenic sight.  Too bad they don't fog out Paradise Pier at Oogie Boogie Bash.  But we'll always have memories such as this one!
