Daytime of the Dead
Finally! Some daytime photos! Well, I can't help that the vast majority of my Halloween Time photos come at night. Firstly, I often frequent the park later than earlier. And number two, the park just looks extra spooky and wicked and fantastical at night, with the glow lights and moody atmosphere. But Halloween Time brings festive ambiance to the parks during the daytime as well, and one of the best examples of this is the vibrant Día de los Muertos display at Zocalo Park. It's been a staple of Halloween Time for many, many years now, and it celebrates the Mexican Day of the Dead that traditionally lands right after Halloween on the calendar. The display at Disneyland features skeleton musicians, detailed ofrendas, beautiful florals, and colorful banners. It's lovely to photograph--regardless of if it's day or night!
