Golden Hour at the Deathly Manor

There's an interesting dichotomy in the photo below of Disneyland Paris' magnificent Phantom Manor.  The home, so decrepit and ramshackle, has the warm rays of the afternoon sun being cast on it, and as a result, the scene actually feels somewhat inviting and nostalgic--if one ignore the physical appearance of the Ravenswood abode itself.  But even amidst the vibrance of the vegetation surrounding it, this eerie mansion seems to rise up from its surroundings, looming from its perch overlooking Thunder Mesa.  It's prominent position ensures that Phantom Manor will be unmistakable for all those who are in the area!
