Flying to the Heavens
This shot of Discoveryland is fun to me because it represents two attractions based on the idea of soaring to the cosmos. The Orbitron is a spinning rocket ship ride that allows guests to whirl around celestial bodies. Meanwhile, Space Mountain is an exciting thrill ride to outer space, through loops and turns and curves and adrenaline. Both allow guests to make believe they're ascending well above terra firma, and they make an appropriate pairing in Disneyland Paris!
A beautifully blue day over Discoveryland. |
