Up Close and Center at the Phantom Manor
Much like the Haunted Mansion here at home in Anaheim, the vast majority of my photos of Disneyland Paris' Phantom Manor are angled from the approach that the park orchestrates, seeing it come around the river bend and then from a diagonal view. But guests exiting the ride pass by the house one more time, which affords them a head on view of the house. It's rather intimate, because the house is right up on a hill immediately overlooking the pathway, and a more head-on shot would require one to be on the water to be more on level with this manor's entry. But it's still a different perspective than what I usually take, and still as creepy as ever!
The Phantom Manor is heavily reminiscent of the infamous Psycho House, i.e. the abode of Norman Bates. |
