The Mysterious Fortress on the Island

Fortress Explorations is an oversized playground attraction technically located in the Mediterranean Harbor portion of Tokyo Disney Sea, even though it's on the shores of Mysterious Island and faces the rest of Mediterranean Harbor across the lagoon.  But it carries a similar Italian architecture and ambiance as the rest of Disney Sea's entrance port of call, which includes areas themed to Venis, Portofino, and Tuscany.  And its feature with the dramatic landscape of Mysterious Island behind it means that it is the single most awe-inspiring vista in the park--the big moneyshot that guests see when they pass under the Hotel Mira Costa and get the full unveil.  The sight is magnificent, and it's one of those views that never gets old!
