The Manor Up Close

Earlier this year, I posted a photo of Disneyland's Haunted Mansion looking straight head on at its entrance.  This was not angle that I had taken before, since the approach is usually at an angle, but it looked pretty cool.  In Disneyland Paris' Phantom Manor, which looks much spookier and more ominious, the straight shot doesn't seem to come out as interestingly.  Part of that is because it's on a hill, and there is no head-on angle that's on level with the entrance, so it just sort of looms up plainly, with a dirt foreground.  But such is the outcome sometimes when trying to get different perspectives!
