Autumn Warmth in Cool Blue Hour

Although taking photos of Disneyland late at night--with completely empty scenes showing the quiet park long after people have left--has always been a favorite pastime, I've recently been tapping into more blue hour photographs that simply crop crowd views out of the frame to focus on a subject against the darkening azure sky.  The moodiness of this time of the evening, when Disney's nighttime magic is just beginning to emerge, is evocative and romantic.  It's the calming of a bustling day, but not a complete rest, because the festivities of the nighttime, with its spectaculars and stunning visuals, are yet to come.  And during the holiday season (fall or winter, but autumn in this case), the ambiance feels even more enchanting!
