A Garden Afterlife Party
The Día de los Muertos display in Frontierland's Zocalo Park has been there for seemingly ages each Halloween Time, and it hasn't changed a whole lot in all these years, other than some slight adjustments in positioning and distribution of elements. So it can be a bit of a challenge to capture a fresh-looking photo that doesn't look like something shot before. This time around, I tried to use a lower angle partially bordered by the flowers in front of the display, using the foreground out-of-focus to create a layered composition that might seem a little more interesting. You can comment on whether I succeeded if you feel like it, but I think this at least presents something a little bit different than my normal angles!

Succeeded! It hardly looks like you are at Disneyland. Rather it looks like a display on Olvera St. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jim! Glad the idea worked! =)
