One with the Water

With its location in Hawaii, on a plot of land literally abutting the ocean, it's not surprising that the theme of water is an important one at Disney's Aulani Hotel and Resort.  The life-giving essence is everywhere in this spectacular tribute to the wondrous tropical haven that is the Hawaiian Islands, from pools and water slides to the lazy river and fountain features.  It's even represented abstractly in the glass curtain wall of the Maka'Ala lobby area, which gazes out toward the Pacific and reflects the skies and the seas.  Water is precious everywhere, of course, and it's celebrated magnificently at Aulani!
