The Wondrous Waikolohe Valley

While I did just spend yesterday's post talking about the benefits and challenges of zooming in and being literally more focused and intentional with telephoto compositions, sometimes, the grandeur of an unfolding vista demands a wide angle frame to try to capture the scope and scale of the incredible environment spilling out ahead.  So today's post flips yesterday's premise and practically provides a panorama across the exotic courtyard space in the heart of the Aulani Resort.  With a lazy river, a volcano-themed waterslide, and towering hotel wings on either side, the Waikolohe Valley is a spectacular sight, and that overlook from just outside the Maka'Ala lobby is quite unforgettable!
