The Grizzly Back Route

Most people passing through Grizzly Peak probably take the main pathway that runs adjacent to the Grand Californian Hotel.  This is a lovely avenue, lined with evergreens and really imparting the spirit of the Sierra Nevadas.  But those who opt to enter a fork near the Grizzly River Run ride entrance can also be treated to a pretty backroads path that takes them around the loading platform of the rapids ride and close to some cascades coming off the mountain.  This lesser-travelled lane is beautiful and serene, and it feels like a little escape in the wilderness!
