Evening Peek Through the River
Most of my photos tend to be pretty vibrant, saturated, and high contrast, but in this particular photo taken several weeks ago, I opted to go for a different editing style and instead lean into the more dull evening light, desaturating the scene and evoking a peaceful and more vintage feel. With the foreground vegetation framing a view of a stately paddleboat from a bygone era, this tone kind of fit. And if it wasn't for the wardrobe of the guests (and their pandemic-era masks), one might imagine this scene coming from more olden times!
