Tokyo Rockets

Today's #FlashbackFriday features an attraction from Tokyo Disneyland that no longer exists--Star Jets, the spinning rocket ship ride that used to be situated in Tomorrowland before the park's Fantasyland expansion.  Sending flyers high above the surrounding area, Star Jets is a reference to classic Tomorrowland.  It features a midcentury space-travel aesthetic and is the same style as the Astro Jets that stood high above Tomorrowland for three decades at Disneyland.  Although it's now retired to Yesterland, it's still nice to look back at what once was.
