Blue Hour at the Bayou

Pirates of the Caribbean is an iconic, classic, and beautifully themed attraction--among the best in all of Disney's repertoire, even after all these decades.  And while there are so many fantastic scenes throughout the ride, I still think that the most atmospheric is at the very beginning, in the bayou that guests enter before loading.  The stillness of the eternally evening air, the slow lapping waters, the fireflies glowing in the distance, and that cool hue cast in the background all evoke a tranquil, enchanting environment that's dripping with mood and character.  It's part of why the Blue Bayou Restaurant is such a magical experience, and it's a joy to just take in a savor.
