The Carthay Christmas Tree
Much like Main Street U.S.A., Buena Vista Street has a grand and ornate Christmas tree that can be seen from near and afar. But unlike Main Street, the Christmas tree here doesn't have quite as obvious natural photogenic angles, at least for me. It's not at the end of the street. In fact, it's to the side of Carthay Circle, offering no natural frame. Except perhaps from Elias and Co., looking toward the Carthay Circle Restaurant. The trees on either side provide a nice composition, requiring a wide lens if shooting in landscape orientation. But it does make for a great angle that imbues the classic Christmas spirit, and it's a pretty sight every night.
