A Big Apple Christmas
After so many nighttime photos (Christmas is, of course, more conducive to pictures after dark), I figured I'd switch it up with a daytime holiday scene. This one comes from Tokyo Disney Sea--specifically its American Waterfront section, and specifically specifically the New York neighborhood. The atmosphere here is charming in how busy it is, and the vibe really does feel like a turn of the 20th century environment. The hanging garlands imbue a bit of Main Street, U.S.A. charm, but with a grittier feel than the clean and crisp Victorian aesthetic of Walt Disney's original Magic Kingdom entrance. Still, like just about everything at Tokyo Disney Sea, this area is evocative and romantic and charming, and it really transports guests into another world. Combine this with the lovely Christmas trimmings, and the result is a wonderful place to take in!
