The Winter Castle Revamped

During the time Disneyland was closed due to the COVID pandemic, Sleeping Beauty Castle underwent a pretty substantial refurbishment to provide some TLC, patch up the roofs, and enhance lighting and paint and general spiffiness.  Now that it is Christmas time at the Disneyland Resort, the Sleeping Beauty Winter Castle also seems to have had some subtle refined touches.  Although it looks mostly the same as in past years with its snowcapped rooftops and colorful ornaments and draping icicles, the decorations pop more, especially at night.  And on top of each turret is a gleaming beacon that adds an extra oomph to the presentation.  The illumination of the castle seems more even than before, with the highlights not as harsh.  It all makes for a spectacular winter scene, and it really harkens to the wondrous holiday season!
