A Glowing, Colorful Holiday
The photo below can't be taken this year, because this year, there are construction walls up in front of this very classic photo spot at It's a Small World. They may or may not be related to an incident that the attraction recently experienced, where major accidental flooding occurred as the ride was being refilled in preparation for reopening after a refurbishment. Though the park has remained tight-lipped about the episode, rumors have suggested that there has been widespread damage, and it is unlikely that Small World will open this holiday season. Fortunately, for ambiance purposes, the colorful and dazzling Christmas lights are still set up and operating after dark. So while it's a shame that the guests may miss out on this beloved holiday overlay this season, at least the festive facade is still enjoyable!
It's a Small World Holiday Edition shines as vibrantly as ever, even though it is closed this season. |
