Skies Above Shanghai Space
I normally try to keep my photos as true to life as possible, with adjustments limited to the standard enhancements that add extra contrast and saturation to imbibe a little drama into a photo per my own preferences. But for the photo below, I decided to try one of the new features of Adobe Photoshop and replace the sky using their automatic processing to do so. The result... wasn't half bad. I had to darken the skies and bring them closer to the mood of the scene (and even then, you'll be able to tell the sky doesn't quite match if you're looking for it), but it makes for a sort of interesting scene compared to the warm, sodium glow of the original photo. I probably won't do this as often, but it's nice to know the option is there if I do grow board with the look of the top part of a future photo!
Shanghai Disneyland's Tomorrowland, with a more dramatic sky than actually witnessed in person. |
